EPRD Summer Concert Series

August 5 & 19 | 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Buchanan Park & Evergreen Lake House

The EPRD Summer Concert Series continues with performances on August 5 and August 19, bringing live music, food trucks, and beautiful mountain scenery to two of Evergreen's most scenic venues. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, gather with friends and neighbors, and enjoy an evening of free outdoor entertainment.

Evergreen Farmers Market

Every Sunday thru September 29 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Downtown Evergreen

Held every Sunday throughout summer, the Evergreen Farmers Market is a weekly tradition featuring fresh Colorado produce, artisan foods, handcrafted goods, flowers, baked treats, and live music. It's the perfect way to support local businesses while enjoying a relaxing morning in the heart of Evergreen.

Mountain Music Fest

August 16 | 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Buchanan Park Recreation Center, Evergreen

Taking place on August 16, Mountain Music Fest returns with a full day of live music, food vendors, family activities, and mountain-town fun. This year's festival is headlined by The Bacon Brothers—featuring Michael and Kevin Bacon—and supports local student programs through the Wooden Hawk Foundation, making it both an exciting concert experience and a meaningful community event.

Big Chili Cook-Off Music & Arts Festival

September 12 | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Buchanan Park, Evergreen

The Big Chili Cook-Off Music & Arts Festival brings the community together for a full day of chili tastings, live music, artists, food vendors, and family fun while raising funds to support mountain-area firefighters. Admission includes access to vendor booths, live entertainment, free chili tastings, and voting for your favorite chili.

Fees/Admission: Advance tickets $25 each; groups of 8 or more $20 each; children 12 and under free. Gate admission is $30.

Pro Tip: Buy tickets by September 9 to get the advance price and skip the higher day-of admission.

Taste of Evergreen

September 15 | 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM | Evergreen Lake House

Taste of Evergreen is one of the Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce's signature events, bringing together favorite local restaurants, breweries, cafés, caterers, wineries, food trucks, and specialty drink makers for an evening of tasting and friendly competition. Guests sample creative bites and sips, enjoy live music, and vote for their favorites while taking in the mountain sunset over Evergreen Lake.

Fees/Admission: Earlybird general admission $40 and Happy Hour early entry $55 through August 28. After that, general admission is $45 and Happy Hour early entry is $65.

Pro Tip: Purchase before August 29 for the earlybird rate; the Happy Hour ticket includes early access and exclusive bites and sips beginning at 4:30 PM.

Evergreen Oktoberfest

September 19 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Buchanan Park Ball Fields, Evergreen

Evergreen Oktoberfest returns to Buchanan Park with live polka music, German dance performances, stein-hoisting competitions, food and brewery pours, kids' activities, costume contests, and the popular Long-Dog Derby. The event is designed for all ages, with plenty to do beyond the beer garden.

Fees/Admission: Advance general admission is $15 for ages 15+, $5 for ages 4–14, and free for ages 3 and under. VIP admission is $75. Day-of prices are higher.

Pro Tip: Parking is available at Evergreen Middle School and Bergen Meadow Elementary, with a free shuttle running from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Long-Dog Derby registration is available in advance.

JOY of Freedom Festival

September 26 | 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Buchanan Field, Evergreen

The JOY of Freedom Festival is a free, family-friendly community event benefiting JOY International and its work to prevent child trafficking and support survivors. The afternoon includes cultural music and dance, food tastings, interactive activities, kids' experiences, a silent auction, and opportunities to learn about JOY's work in the U.S., Uganda, Nepal, and Belize.
